Editing

Today, Ruby and I decided to test out some editing techniques using Final Cut Express. The shot where the artist is cycling over the bridge was shot from three different angles. We cut them down so that it looked like she was going over the bridge in one take, but from three different angles. We had to speed up the last little bit because she was cycling very slowly, to ensure it looked smooth. After we fiddled around with what we could do and examined the footage to see which bits would look best. We then came to the conclusion that we needed a few extra shots to fill in the narrative, which wont necessarily need to be showing the artist.
